My Review

This is the first strictly romance novel I have read in a long time. Typically I am a fan of supernatural things but Ashley Wilcox made me forget completely that paranormal books were even an option and commanded my full attention from the very first page. Leah Bennett is a college freshman who just tried to survive high school and now make it through college. She is the essence of what every girl struggles with when finding herself and love in a new place. I fell in love with her after her first interaction with Matthew Jacobs, the hot star football player that every girl dreams about.
The story that Ashley was able to weave had me begging for more. I opened it this morning and read it from cover to cover squealing like a little kid in a candy store. When they were embarrassed I cringed for them, I high-fived Leah through the pages and cheered Matt on as if I was truly there. Waiting on Forever is an absolutely breathtaking story that I would recommend to anyone and will be reading again. If you are looking for a book that will consume you, make you forget to eat and forfeit bathroom breaks for one more chapter--this is the book for you. Ashley Wilcox's book is what a true romance novel should be and couldn't possible disappoint. I'm so glad I read this book.

About the Author

Some may consider me a jack of all trades, but I consider myself well rounded.
I’ve waitressed, styled hair, answered phones and, most recently, worked full time as mom to my two beautiful little boys.
Then there was this book… Everyone and their brother started talking about this book series titled Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James.  I didn’t really pay attention to the craze at first, since I wasn’t a big reader- okay, I didn’t read at all.  But curiosity got the best of me, so I downloaded it to my kindle.
I was immediately hooked. I read the whole series in three days.  Yes, three books in three days.
I kept finding all these great books that I HAD to read (just ask my credit card!).
Then I started hearing voices. Voices that turned into stories; stories that were begging to get out of my head.
I started writing them down on scraps of paper. Then I transferred them to my computer. Before I knew it, Planning on Forever was born.
The voices in my head are still talking, so I’m still writing.
